Are you considering a future in ministry, or just love working with kids and want hands-on experience in a church setting? Come serve as a Children’s Ministry Intern with First UMC Kids!

This internship gives you the chance to:

• Gain practical, real-world experience in children’s ministry.
• Learn directly from experienced leaders who will mentor and equip you for your future calling.
• Build skills you can carry into your own ministry, whether that’s teaching, leading volunteers, planning events, or caring for families.
• Make a difference in the lives of children by helping them grow in faith and experience God’s love.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare curriculum and materials for weekly programs and special events.
• Help organize and maintain ministry spaces.
• Participate in Sunday morning activities and events throughout the year.
• Participating in planning sessions
• Engage with children, parents, volunteers, and staff in a warm, friendly, and professional way.

Schedule & Commitment

• Part-time, flexible hours (with a focus on Sundays)
• Additional opportunities to serve at special events throughout the semester.
