Full Time Youth Minister
Job Requirements
This is a vibrant, active, growing congregation in the Dayton Ohio area with a strong leadership and pulpit ministry. The Family and Youth Minister role will be to serve the congregation as part of the Leadership Team in edifying the body of Christ and equipping the Saints for their ministry in service to God, and our neighbors, with a focus on integrating our youth into the larger church family during their transitional years.
Job Benefits
Salary - Competitive Annual Base Pay.
Moving Expense – To cover costs of moving and potential first month rent and security deposit if necessary.
Social Security – Paid by the Youth Minister through Pay Link service
Medical Insurance – Paid by the Youth Minister
Merit Increases – Evaluated annually from date of hire and based on the available budget, and calculated as a percentage of the previous year’s base salary.
Mid-Year Bonus – Calculated as a percentage of the weekly average of the 2nd Quarter collections excluding any targeted contributions or endowments.
Professional Expenses / Continuing Education – Reimbursable expenses of up to $$$$ per year.
Credit Card – Provided to facilitate payment of Church related expenses only. Receipts for transactions shall be turned in to the Church Secretary weekly with a written explanation of the expenditures when needed for clarity.
Standard Work Week – The core weekday hours for the office to be open and staffed with Office Administrator support is 9-3. The nature of the Family and Youth Minister Position however does preclude a traditional weekday only work schedule.
Vacation – Sick Leave – to be negotiated appropriately.
