Medical Office Insurance Verification Specialist

We are looking for an energetic team player with great communication skills to be part of an exciting behavioral health practice and software company. Previous medical customer service experience is preferred. Bilingual is a plus, but not required. This entry level job could give valuable experience and lead to advancement in the areas of accounts receivables and business administration.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities will include:

· knowledge of specific insurance verification and preauthorization is preferred

· answering phones

· returning messages via phone and text

· data entry

· scheduling appointments

· giving detailed instruction to the patients

· collecting credit card payments

· management of multiple daily schedules

Necessary skills include:

· being computer savvy

· knowledge of basic office machines

· attention to detail

· ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· maintain confidential sensitive information

· professionalism

· the ability to work both independently and in a team setting

· Knowledge of specific insurance verification and preauthorization is preferred
