Description of Youth Minister: The main focus areas of the Youth Minister are to develop and grow our ministry to students both within the congregation and across our community, encourage and support youth in their relationship with God, nurture the relationship with students' peers, and as a group, experience growth and support one another in reaching those who have not yet chosen to follow Jesus.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate would:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in a youth ministry or related field
• If married, have a spouse who is supportive and active in the church
• Be able to lead worship and sing as needed
• Have previous experience in leading youth ministry including internships
• Have a deep intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, manifestedin godly character and a dedicated personal practice of spiritual disciplines
• Have a clear and strong calling from God for youth ministry
• Have the skills to develop a close working relationship with the Church Eldership and preaching minister
• Have some background in the church of Christ
• Be sound in the Biblical knowledge that supports the Church's mission.
