Camp Chaparral is hiring college-aged young adults to help cultivate an environment for campers to learn about Jesus, grow in their relationship with Him, build Christ-centered community, and have fun during their time at camp. 

Located just outside of Wichita Falls, Texas, in the countryside of Iowa Park, Camp Chaparral is a Baptist camp and conference center that is dedicated to wholeheartedly serving our guests and promoting spiritual growth, healthy relationships, and wholesome recreation.

Unlike camp counselors, Summer Staffers work behind the scenes to carry out various responsibilities and facilitate recreational activities, some of which include:

• Lifeguarding
• Ropes course facilitation
• Supervise and provide instruction for Archery Tag, Gelly Ball, and Mini Golf stations
• Making sweet treats in the Sugar Shack
• Serving and preparing meals in the kitchen
• Housekeeping

The ideal candidate is passionate about serving others and is actively growing in their walk with God.

Job Benefits

• Free room and board
• Up to $400 per week 
• Pay may be distributed in the form of a scholarship if employee desires
