Denbigh Church of Christ (Newport News, VA)

The Denbigh Church of Christ in Newport News, Virginia, is seeking a full-time pulpit minister to join us in sharing the gospel and leading us into the future.

About Us:

We are a racially and socioeconomically diverse congregation of about 90 in weekly attendance. Our worship is contemporary and a cappella, and women participate in public roles in our assemblies. Located in a suburban setting of Newport News within Virginia’s greater Tidewater urban area, we strive to be a welcoming and Christ-centered community. Our mission statement is— “To live as God’s family under the cross: Loving, Serving, Praising, and Proclaiming.

We Are Seeking a Preacher Minister Who:

• Preaches biblically grounded, relevant, and engaging sermons.
• Bachelor’s degree and church leadership experience.
• Connects well with younger people and families.
• Has a heart for outreach and community engagement.
• Thinks creatively in ministry and leadership.
• Works collaboratively with elders, ministry leaders, and members to build up the body of Christ and share the gospel in our community.

Compensation:

We offer a generous compensation package commensurate with training and experience.
