The Student Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the student ministry, The Student Ministry Director is responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing a comprehensive
youth ministry program (7th-12th Grades) focused on building young disciples for Jesus. Areas of focus include group building, worship, discipleship, mission, outreach, and building a strong team of volunteers. The Student Director must also serve as an engaging spiritual leader and role model and possess a strong biblical perspective.

Job Requirements

  • Organize and lead weekly gatherings for middle school and high school students on Wednesdays from 6:15-7:30.
  • Plan, promote, and execute events that foster discipleship, engaging students and encouraging them to serve in various ministries.
  • Mentor and develop student leaders, helping them to discover their gifts and encouraging their involvement in serving during weekend services.
  • Recruit, train, and inspire a team of volunteers committed to supporting students and creating engaging ministry opportunities.
  • Build relationships with students through personal outreach, attending their extracurricular activities and supporting their events.
  • Be a team player by coordinating with and participating in the life of the church through other ministries, events, activities, etc.
  • Work closely with the Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, and other church staff to ensure alignment between the student ministry and the overall vision and goals of the church.
  • Communicate effectively with church staff, leadership, volunteers, parents, and congregation members, in a timely manner utilizing
    available resources (email, website, social media, bulletin, etc.) about the student ministry.
