Preaching Minister
The Preaching Minister at North Central Church of Christ is first and foremost called to the ministry of
the Word. The central responsibility of this role is the faithful, thoughtful, and compelling proclamation
of Scripture, particularly through Sunday morning preaching.
The Preaching Minister serves alongside the elders and staff to support the spiritual growth of the
congregation, but the primary vocational focus of this position is preaching that is biblically grounded,
carefully prepared, and pastorally applied.
Our Approach to Preaching and Teaching
At North Central, we value preaching and teaching that:
1. Dives deeply into Scripture, modeling careful study and sound theology
2. Equips adults to pass faith on to their children and grandchildren
3. Engages contemporary issues with biblical clarity and wisdom
4. Builds a hopeful, service-oriented church culture centered on Christ
Our congregation loves to learn and values preaching that challenges the mind, shapes the heart,
and strengthens faith for daily life.
