Minister/Evangelist

Seeking a Fulltime Outreach Minister/Evangelist and his family to work with our small congregation in Central Massachusetts. Our church (with average attendance of 35) is in a mission field, where the majority of the population are from a Catholic background or are unchurched. We have no elders and have been without a minister for 3 years. Our congregation, begun in the 1960’s, is aging out; we currently have only a handful of children, and many members have not returned following COVID. In essence, we’re starting over. Can this church be saved? That is our prayer because we know, with God, all things are possible!

The candidate we have in mind must first and foremost love the Lord and His Church and possess a passion for bringing people to Christ. He must be able to provide biblical, motivational, down-to-earth teaching as well as lead in sharing Christ through outreach efforts in our community. Other descriptive characteristics would include: servant-leader; vision-caster; relates well with all ages; and not averse to cold weather!

An amazing adventure awaits the person who is up to the challenge of helping to grow the Kingdom in the Northeast. If you are willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside us toward a common goal of being a light in our community, then we’d like to hear from you!

A strong Bible background; the ability to share God's Word with clarity and sincerity; a missionary mindset 

Job Benefits

Our congregation is actively involved in Gander Brook Christian Camp in Raymond, ME, less than 3 hours away. We also have an on-premises archaeological museum, with many artifacts from the Bible Lands, used for Bible teaching and outreach.
