The elders of the Daugherty Street Church of Christ in Eastland, Texas seek to hire a full-time preacher who is evangelistic and doctrinally sound. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to biblical authority, personal holiness, servant leadership, and an ability to minister compassionately to advance the kingdom of God. He will also demonstrate an ability to relate to all ages as this is an age diverse congregation.

The responsibilities of the person hired for this position will include:

• Preach Sunday morning and evening services.
• Teach Sunday morning adult bible class as needed.
• Conduct Wednesday night bible class and follow up with a small devotional.
• Keep regular office hours and manage office staff.

Eastland is centrally located in Texas on IH20 about 90 miles west of Fort Worth and 50 miles east of Abilene. The attendance range is typically 160 to 185 individuals. Our leadership includes 5 elders, 7 deacons, one youth and family minister (full-time) and one associate minister (part-time).
