Campus Minister at University of Florida

University City Church of Christ in Gainesville, Florida, seeks a qualified candidate to lead the Gators For Christ campus ministry that serves students at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College, beginning in the spring/summer of 2025. 

A preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or higher, experience with ministry to young people, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. 

The GFC campus minister is responsible for teaching classes, evangelism, leading/organizing major events, small groups, mission/service-oriented trips, and retreats, overseeing social media and other forms of advertising/outreach, mentoring and counseling students, and contributing as a member of the University City staff under the oversight of the elders. The campus minister also works with/is assisted by an advisory committee. 

UCCC is a dynamic and active congregation of about 300 members with four elders and seven staff positions. In addition to the campus ministry, it maintains ministries in missions, youth, recovery, and others.
